1. Scope of this policy

This policy explains how Studio Lemon handles personal data and client reporting data in the Studio Lemon Insights. The dashboard is only available to Studio Lemon clients and their authorized users after a client relationship has already been established.

Your organization's agreement with Studio Lemon may include additional privacy, confidentiality, and data processing terms. Those terms continue to apply alongside this policy.

2. Data we process

Depending on your account and configured websites, the dashboard may process account details such as your name, email address, role, login status, and password credentials; client details such as website names, domains, configuration, brand colors, and reporting preferences; website performance data such as traffic, search queries, impressions, clicks, rankings, landing pages, and related metrics; connection data such as OAuth tokens, API keys, account identifiers, property identifiers, and connection status; generated report data; and technical logs such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, errors, and security events.

3. Why we process data

Studio Lemon processes this data to provide client reporting, connect approved third-party data sources, maintain dashboards and PDF reports, troubleshoot support requests, secure the application, improve service quality, and meet contractual or legal obligations. Processing is generally based on the client agreement, legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, consent or authorization for connected third-party accounts, and legal obligations where applicable.

4. Third-party services

The dashboard may receive data from third-party services configured for your organization, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO reporting providers. Those services have their own privacy notices and account permission controls. Studio Lemon only requests access needed to provide the agreed reporting services.

Studio Lemon may also use trusted hosting, infrastructure, email, monitoring, analytics, and support providers to operate the dashboard. These providers may process data only as needed to provide their services to Studio Lemon.

5. Cookies and similar technology

The dashboard uses necessary cookies and similar browser storage for login sessions, security, CSRF protection, and basic application operation. These are required for the service to work. Studio Lemon does not use the dashboard as a public advertising product.

6. Security

Studio Lemon uses access controls, authentication, encrypted connections, secure password hashing, restricted user roles, and operational safeguards to protect dashboard data. Connection secrets such as OAuth tokens and API keys should be treated as confidential. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so authorized users should keep their credentials safe and report suspected issues quickly.

7. Retention

Studio Lemon keeps dashboard data for as long as needed to provide the service, support the client relationship, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When access ends or a client relationship changes, Studio Lemon will retain, export, delete, or anonymize data according to the applicable client agreement and legal requirements.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data. Because the dashboard is provided through a client relationship, Studio Lemon may need to coordinate requests with your organization. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. International access

Studio Lemon and its providers may process or access data from locations where they operate. When transfers are required, Studio Lemon uses contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate for the data and the services involved.
